Formerly a pub, the Hare & Hounds is set in idyllic countryside situated just outside historic Rye (2 miles). It makes the perfect base for exploring 1066 country, camber sands and the surrounding areas.
Our beautiful Bed & Breakfast accommodation is open all year round, and camping for Tents and Campervans is available April – September at our campsite.

Harriet made us a wonderful breakfast for every morning of our stay, full of delicious goodies such as croissants, an assortment of breads, butter, jams, cerals, juices and tea and coffee.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Rye and needed a place to stay. We were really happy they we found this place. Prior to our arrival Harriet kept in touch with us via text and emails. She made us feel very welcome on our arrival. Breakfast was lovely Thank you very much.
